We had a great time at the AEJMC Conference in San Francisco earlier this month.
Lance & I presented the poster “Crusaders, Not Subordinates: How Women’s Page Editors Worked to Change the Gender Climate Within APME and ASNE." In the paper, we analyzed the work of women's page editors Dorothy Jurney, Marie Anderson and Maggie Savoy.
These women fought through the 1960s and early 1970s to improve the workplace for women journalists.
